Services - Connecticut
Our programs in Connecticut serve
approximately 670 individuals with a variety of developmental and other
disabilities including people with autism, mental retardation, traumatic
brain injury, physical disabilities, complex medical conditions,
psychiatric disorders, blindness, deafness, dual diagnosis and
social-emotional maladjustment. Our ability to provide quality services to
people with severely challenging behaviors and those with complex physical
and medical needs is unique. At the present time, the Connecticut
operations of The Institute include the following program models:
Six-bed Community Intermediate Care Facilities/Mental Retardation (ICF/MR)
Three and Four-Bed Group Homes
Supervised Living Arrangements
Individual Service Options (ISO) and Community Training Homes (CTH)
