About I.P.P. - New Hampshire
The Institute’s original venture into
becoming a service-provider occurred in New Hampshire in 1985. At
that time, representatives from New Hampshire’s Developmental Services
Division recruited us to assist in the development and implementation of a
system of community supports for people with developmental and other
disabilities. In particular, they sought our expertise in serving those
individuals with severely challenging behaviors. We accepted the request,
and since then have established a comprehensive network of supports for
individuals both at home and work.
Since our initial introduction as a provider agency, we have continued
to expand our services. We currently have many programs across the state,
working in four of the six developmental services regions that contract
with private providers. We are one of the largest private agencies,
ranking in the top ten of the providers that hold contracts supported by
the Division of Developmental Services. We also have contracts with
various public school districts and private-pay parties.
